Ed Squire is the founder and host of the Visible Kindness Podcast, where he explores the intersection of faith, kindness, healing, and the power of personal stories. Through honest conversations with guests and thought-provoking solo episodes, Ed encourages people to rediscover their identity, live with compassion, and find hope even in life's most difficult seasons.
Drawing from his own journey through childhood trauma, recovery, brain surgery, and a renewed understanding of God's grace, Ed shares biblical insights alongside real-life experiences that inspire others to see themselves—and those around them—through the eyes of Christ. His passion is helping people discover that kindness is not weakness but strength, and that every story has the power to change a life.
One of the most difficult parts of a life-changing diagnosis isn't experienced by the person receiving it alone.
It's experienced by everyone who loves them.
While filming the upcoming documentary about Jessica's ALS journey, I spent time with her sisters, Amy and Carey, to hear their perspective. Together, they reflect on growing up with Jessica, noticing the first warning signs, struggling through uncertainty, and facing the heartbreaking reality of her diagnosis.
Much of this conversation won't appear in the documentary, making this episode a unique opportunity to hear their complete thoughts and emotions.
Jessica's deepest desire has always been for her story to point people toward Jesus Christ. These conversations help preserve that story while reminding us how powerful family, faith, and kindness can be during life's darkest seasons.
